Licence conversions

A licence obtained outside Europe, or on another aircraft category, converts to EASA through an individualised programme: file assessment, top-up training, then presentation for the tests.

We organise the conversion of ICAO licences — PPL, CPL and CPL/IR-ME — to Part-FCL, the theoretical conversion from ATPL(H) to ATPL(A) for helicopter pilots, and the transition of sailplane pilots from SPL to PPL(A) through a reduced theory course and fifteen flight hours.

How it works

Every conversion starts with a review of the licence, logbook and certificates held. The top-up programme — theory, flight, or both — is then set with the head of training, within the programmes approved on our certificate.

Tests are taken with our examiners; licence issue is a matter for the Belgian Civil Aviation Authority.
